Portrait of Linda Morse

Putting my experience to work for you!

LINDA'S JOURNEY IN PUBLIC SERVICE.

Linda has served the region, county, and city for over forty years, while working and raising her kids. She learned many lessons from these experiences. She met a variety of people - different ages, skill types, and points of view. She was exposed to many significant aspects of government and community organizations. She learned to listen and ask good questions. Most of all, she learned that when people listen to each other and treat each other with respect, they can work together to solve problems. Our community is a better, healthier, safer place because of all the time and commitment Linda dedicated to us.

A RECORD OF LINDA'S LOCAL AND REGIONAL ACCOMPLISHMENTS

Regional

Linda was a strong leader for the Flint Hills Regional Council, the governing board and economic development group for 7 counties (including Riley, Wabaunsee, and Pottawattamie) and their cities. As treasurer and board member, she helped procure and oversee large Federal and State grants across the region in support of economic development opportunities, Fort Riley initiatives, and grants for cities and counties.
Linda is an active alumna of
Leadership Kansas, a prestigious, statewide program designed to enhance and connect leaders from across Kansas. It is one of the oldest statewide leadership programs in the country and Linda was honored to be selected. She uses this network of regional leaders to learn what works when tackling rural economic development issues.
